The Washburn Tech Institutional Refund Policy as outlined in the current school year's Academic Catalog applies to all postsecondary students who withdraw from class during a semester.
The Return of Title IV Funds Policy set forth by the U.S. Department of Education also applies to postsecondary students if they received or were eligible to receive Federal Student Aid. Federal aid includes Pell Grants and student loans.
After enrolling in a program, you are responsible for tuition and fee charges unless you withdraw from that program. Tuition will be refunded to your account based on the date of withdrawal according to the schedule below.

Financial aid refunds available via direct deposit beginning August 11, 2026; refund checks will be available for pick-up on August 13, 2026 after 10 a.m. (photo ID required) in the business office on the Huntoon campus.
