Accommodations at Washburn Tech

Washburn Institute of Technology is committed to assisting the academic needs of every learner. The Washburn Student Accessibility Services Office (SASO) provides reasonable accommodations to students with mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities to create equal opportunities throughout their educational journey at Washburn Tech in the classroom.

Get started with the accommodation process

Washburn University and Washburn Institute of Technology provide reasonable accommodations to students with permanent or temporary disabilities to promote accessibility in their educational programs. Reasonable accommodations can include: extended test time, distraction reduced testing environments, interpreters, assistive technology, and many more! Reasonable accommodations are granted through an interactive process that begins by following the steps located below.
