
Washburn Institute of Technology is committed to assisting the academic needs of every learner. Our office provides reasonable accommodations to students with mental, physical, and intellectual disabilities to create equal opportunities throughout their educational journey at Washburn Tech in the classroom.
In order to provide appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities, individuals (new and returning students) must complete an Accommodation Request Form every semester services are needed. New students additionally must request their medical provider, physician, or therapist to complete the Disability Impairment Assessment form.
Washburn Institute of Technology’s office of University Diversity and Inclusion is responsible for assisting in arranging reasonable accommodations and for identifying resources for students with disabilities.
Qualified students with disabilities must register with our office to be eligible for services. The office MUST have current documentation on file in order to provide services.
