Future chefs learn by cooking in Washburn Tech’s kitchen. Future child care professionals learn by teaching toddlers and pre-school age children at Little Learners at Washburn Tech. And, future emergency dispatchers learn to serve as the connection between callers in distress and the professionals who can help them.

Why Washburn Tech for Hospitality & Human Services?

This program has changed by life. I've always wanted to be a teacher and the program made that dream so much easier. It was a lot of work, but it was the best hands-on experience. After completing the course, I transferred my credits to Washburn University and earned my associate's degree in early childhood education. Thanks, in part, to Washburn Tech's program and its awesome instructor, my dream has come true and I now have a full-time job teaching pre-school aged children.
