Technical instructors and staff partner on several committees to improve the Washburn Tech experience, both for the student and the employee. The following committee rosters are updated on an annual basis:

2017-2018 Assessment Committee

This committee provides the leadership necessary to ensure that the assessment of student learning is providing consistent and useful data to faculty, the instructional divisions, and the institution for the improvement of the curriculum and student learning.

2017-2018 Safety Committee

The SafeTech Committee is a representation of each division of learning and provides both direction and leadership supporting the vision of developing the safest tech students in the nation. It is designed to support our mission of creating a safety culture practiced at all levels.

2017-2018 Care Closet Committee

This committee raises money that provides short-term financial assistance to Washburn Tech students who need help to complete their education. Aid can take the form of gas money, bus fare or a bag of groceries.

Washburn Tech Social Committee

Committee members plan events which are designed to improve the social environment of the campus workplace and encourage collaborative action.
