Prepare to Flip over the Annual Holiday Gift & Craft Fair

Topeka, Kan. – Load up on holiday gifts and pancakes at the Washburn Tech Holiday Gift and Craft Fair on Saturday, November 8, inside Washburn Tech’s Conference Center at 5724 S.W. Huntoon St. Chris Cakes will serve flap jacks from 8 – 11 a.m. for $5.25 a person which includes all the pancakes you can eat plus three sausages and a beverage. The gift and craft fair is open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and admission for shoppers is free.

“This year, we are featuring another outstanding group of vendors,” said David Praiswater, Washburn Tech building technology instructor. “Plus, beware of flying pancakes! Chris Cakes will be on campus to serve flap jacks so you can eat a delicious meal before tackling your holiday shopping list.”

The annual gift and craft fair is a fundraiser for the Washburn Tech Chapter of SkillsUSA, a national organization of career and technical education students, instructors and business partners. SkillsUSA helps students discover and grow their career passions, and works to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
