This course will lead the students through the basics of automotive air conditioning. The class will cover the theory of heat transfer and refrigeration. Leak detection and system performance will be covered as will recovery equipment and refrigerant handling. At the end of the course students will take a certification exam. Upon passing the student will be 609 certified.
