Technical Training

Technical training may be custom designed through a partnership between an organization and Business & Industry Training. Together, this team develops the curriculum, determines the technology to utilize, decides on the presentation format, location of training (whether on site or at Washburn Tech, number of trainees per session and number of sessions. Students must be 16 or older to enroll in Business & Industry technical training classes.

Business & Industry Training offers the flexibility to provide professional training 24 hours a day to meet the needs of business and the community. Since we are a public institution, quality training is provided at a reasonable cost.

Factors in considering the cost for customized programs include curriculum development time, type and duration of training, travel expenses outside Topeka, and any other special circumstances.
